Dr. Rowan Elkeshawi
Dr. Rowan Elkeshawi earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from LIU Brooklyn, Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in May 2022. As a New York native, she stayed in-state to pursue a PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Staten Island University Hospital, affiliated with Northwell Health.
Dr. Rowan Elkeshawi wishes to pursue a PGY-2 in ambulatory care. The most rewarding part of her career is building relationships with her patients and trust within the healthcare team at SIUH. She enjoys patient education on various chronic diseases such as COPD, hyperlipidemia and hypertension as well as patient’s medications through transitions of care. Rowan enjoys mentoring and co-precepting students and furthering the future of pharmacy through student interactions, and will be receiving a Teaching Certificate from Long Island University in the spring of 2023.
