The presentation will cover the requirements place by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) through their Diversion Control Division (Diversion) on wholesalers of controlled substances.
After the presentation, the participants will be familiar with the role of DEA and their recent changes and actions for controlled substances.
State the role of DEA Diversion personnel who enforce pharmaceutical federal laws under the Controlled Substances Act and DEA regulations.
Describe the recent DEA Settlement Agreement signed on December 23, 2021, by the major three wholesale of controlled substance distributors.
List wholesalers of controlled substances DEA Due Diligence requirements for controlled substance customers.
State the requirements of the wholesalers of controlled substances on their pharmacy customers such as providing controlled substance records and dispensing information.
