Dr. Winter grew up in Spring Creek, a small rural town in northeastern Nevada. She received her PharmD in 2020 from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Nebraska Medicine. She is currently a PGY2 emergency medicine pharmacy resident at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Long Island University Pharmacy. Dr. Winter’s professional interests include toxicology, academia, and emergency response. Her goal is to contribute to the advancement a pharmacist’s role in the emergency department through participation in interdisciplinary patient care and leadership, mentoring, and research opportunities. She enjoys the challenging and fast-paced nature of emergency medicine, practicing bedside and collaborating with providers in the emergency department, and teaching. In her spare time, Dr. Winter likes traveling, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and playing cribbage.
