- Define the clinical presentation, risk factors, and pathogens of mammalian and non-mammalian animal bites
- Describe the importance of Rabies pre-and post-exposure prophylaxis
- State the pharmacological treatments and vaccine recommendations for various types of bites
- Evaluate the evidence comparing best practice strategies in the treatment of human bites

Mandie Wang, PharmD, MBA is a current PGY-1 pharmacy resident at Mount Sinai Queens and graduated from Long Island University Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Mandie is interested in pharmacy informatics and will be a PGY-2 pharmacy informatics resident upon graduation of PGY-1 at Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens.
