Identify typical and atypical “red flags” that suggests controlled substances are not being prescribed for legitimate medical purposes.
Identify the appropriate actions to take to prevent the intentional misuse of controlled substances to minimize the illicit and life-threatening dissemination of controlled substances.
Describe how to better utilize established technological and practical safeguards within facilities to react appropriately to illicit controlled substance prescriptions.
