This course will satisfy the requirement for annual training required by OSHA.

Identify the most common bloodborne pathogens, and which bodily fluids are potentially infectious
Describe the concept of universal precautions
List the proper disposal procedures for needles and other sharps
Describe the proper procedures for handling needles, sharps, and contaminated materials to avoid inadvertent exposure
Describe proper procedures post-exposure to bloodborne pathogens
Describe the different types of isolation precautions and protective equipment to be used
Describe the requirements of, and how to utilize, an exposure control plan
