-describe "red flags" when evaluating a controlled substance prescription
-describe the term "corresponding liability" as it relates to the dispensing of controlled substances
-list the various DEA forms for pharmacists
Anthony J. Cutie,PhD, RPh. Is professor of pharmaceutics at LIU Pharmacy in Brooklyn. He received his B.S. degree in pharmacy from the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy, his master’s degree and his Ph.D. from Rutgers University, College of Pharmacy. Dr. Cutie has been extremely active in the formulation and reformulation of new chemical entities and generic metered dose aerosol products. He has served as a consultant for the FDA and has been an active member over the past 40 years with various USP committees. Dr. Cutie has served as the College’s liaison to the New York State Board of Pharmacy since 1968 and “enjoys nothing more” than teaching and watching pharmacy students licensing in to the profession that he treasures.
