Benedict Wu, DO, PhD

Dr. Wu is the Director of Inpatient Dermatology, Associate Residency Program Director, and Assistant Professor in Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. His clinical interests range from inpatient to complex medical dermatology, including collagen vascular disorders, autoimmune bullous disorders, immunodermatology, the vasculitides, and cutaneous lymphomas. Dr. Wu earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Cell and Molecular Biology and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in the combined DO/PhD program in 2016. In 2021, he completed his Dermatology residency at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he served as chief resident. Since joining Montefiore Einstein in 2021, Dr. Wu has started two important programs in his Division: the inpatient dermatology consult rotation for fourth-year medical students and the adult rheumatology-dermatology combined clinic.
