Dr. Elena Quattrocchi BS, Pharm.D., FASHP, CDCES, BC-ADM -Dr. Quattrocchi has been teaching at Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for 36 years. She received the Newton Award and Founders Award from Long Island University. She received her BS and postbaccalaureate Pharm. D degree from Saint John’s University. Dr. Quattrocchi was the Director of Education for New York State for 5 years, and served a term on the New York State Medicaid DUR Board. She was also a member of ASHP Council on Educational Affairs for 3 years. Dr. Quattrocchi received the prestigious honor of Fellow to ASHP (FASHP).  She serves as a board member on several  boards: Northwell Health IRB Board, the Editorial Board as an Associate Editor for Drugs in Context and the JRDF Staten Island chapter. She has her board certification in Advanced Diabetes management (BC-ADM) and is a Certified Diabetes Care Education specialist (CDCES). Dr. Quattrocchi is affiliated with Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) Northwell Health. She precepts Long Island University pharmacy students and PGY1 pharmacy residents at SIUH. She provides inpatient diabetes education and rounds daily on pediatrics. Dr. Quattrocchi  has published and presented lectures in the area of diabetes.  

Holly S. Goetz, PharmD PGY1 Pharmacy Resident  Staten Island University Hospital earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina, College of Pharmacy in May 2020. Holly was born and raised on Long Island, New York and made her way back to New York State to begin her pharmacy career. Holly is one of the current PGY1 Pharmacy Residents at Staten Island University Hospital, affiliated with Northwell Health. As the first group of Pharmacy Residents, she and co-resident Dr. Mohamad Sow are paving the way for future residents and pharmacy services at SIUH! Holly has just matched for a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency with Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York. The most rewarding part of her career is building relationships and trust with her patients through counseling and medication management. Holly enjoys medication management and education particularly with diabetes, heart failure, and hypertension and is excited to expand her knowledge in the management of HIV next year. She is also passionate about mentoring students and has enjoyed co precepting during many of her PGY1 experiences. She will be receiving her Teaching Certificate from Long Island University this Spring.
