- Describe febrile neutropenia, including the mechanism of neutropenia and concern for possible bacterial infection
- Identify patients according to risk status and treatment setting based on several available scoring tools
- State guideline recommendations to devise reasonable empiric treatment regimens for patients with febrile neutropenia
- Relate relevant literature to current antibiotic management recommendations for patients with febrile neutropenia
