Unique experience in pharmacy practice, regulatory affairs and pharmacy education. Community Pharmacist with over thirty years behind the bench along with extensive experience in managing a pharmacy as a sole proprietor. Served for over ten years as a member of the New York State Board of Pharmacy, including Chair, and in the highest role in New York pharmacy professional associations. Also served seven years in Village Government, including elected mayor of a prestigious Westchester village. Testified before the New York State Assembly. Continuing pharmacy education lecturer since 1999 to over 5000 pharmacists. Serve on the editorial board of peer-review pharmacy publications.Joined LIU Pharmacy in January 2009 as Director of Continuing Professional Education, Appointed Full Time Faculty (Associate Professor) in January of 2016 in the Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In October of 2021, he was appointed Vice Dean of Academic Affairs.

Prepare and provide accredited continuing education programs for pharmacists on education, error prevention, New York State disciplinary process, laws, rules and regulations for New York state pharmacy practice, laws, rules and regulations for the proper prescribing and dispensing of controlled substances in New York State. Since the inception of the programs, I have lectured to over five thousand pharmacists and pharmacy students.
