Describe the epidemiology and pathophysiology of type 1 diabetes
Discuss recent technological advances in insulin delivery and blood glucose monitoring for patients with type 1 diabetes
List current commercially available insulin pump, inhaled insulin, and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices
Recognize literature evaluating the inpatient use of insulin pumps, inhaled insulin, and CGMs relative to current standards of care
